Who is Madame Bonnes Manières? 

 

Bonjour. I'm Tamiko and it is my pleasure to welcome you to spend an enriching week at Le Manoir Finishing School & Etiquette Retreat. I am passionate about French culture. Driven to bridge the gap between France and the non-French, I launched Minding Manners International and was rapidly recognised by France Television as Madame Bonnes Manières. 

 

Following my Debutante season in Beverly Hills, California, despite a path toward an executive career, a budding interest grew in French culture and the arts. Then in 1997 I followed my dreams and moved to Paris where I discovered a new, exciting way of life enhanced by the codes of French art de vivre. My journey continued with tuition in Switzerland from a member of the former French nobility, a course at Insitut Villa Pierrefeu Finishing School and later a master’s degree in Protocol and Diplomacy in Brussels, and a Certificate in Intercultural Communication for Global Business from University of Cambridge in England. I have honed my culinary arts skills with courses at Le Cordon Bleu and earned Certificates from La Sorbonne in French History and French Gastronomy. As you may have noticed, I am a firm believer that "school is never out".  In other words, each day is a new opportunity to learn something exciting and purposeful, and that is the foundation of The French Touch®.
